I decided to walk to the Sitka National Historic Park and was greeted with spectacular views enroute.

The sun/blizzard alternated for much of the walk.

The morning I landed, Sitka was dumped on. It was in the mid 30'sF and the wet snow was about a foot deep - everywhere!

The tide must have washed away a significant amount of snow.

The snow covered Sitka Spruce (?) were quite pretty.

Black waters, white snow, green trees...

The city - see the bridge on the left, it connects UAS-Sitka Campus, the airport and Mt. Edgecumbe High School with the bulk of Sitka.
